What do you do when an Oscar- and Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker and journalist comes to speak at Honours? You drop everything and show up!
On Monday, March 23 at 18:00, we’re honoured to welcome Anders Hammer for a powerful talk on radicalization, based on his acclaimed NRK podcast "Terroristen fra Bærum," examining Philip Manshaus's path leading up to the 2019 attack in Bærum.
He is internationally known for his Oscar-nominated documentary "Do Not Split" and the Emmy-nominated film "The Takeover" about the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan. He has produced award-winning documentaries for NRK and TV 2. He has written for leading Norwegian outlets and received Freelancer of the Year from the Norwegian Union of Journalists, as well as the Fritt Ord Award for his work.
We invite all students, professors, and researchers, to join us for an timely conversation: Is Norway becoming a more radicalized country?
